Refund Policy

At Bar Social, we aim to provide all our guests with a safe, enjoyable experience. To ensure clarity and fairness, please read our terms below before booking or purchasing tickets:

1. Deposits

  • All deposits for table reservations, private hire, or venue hire are strictly non-refundable.

  • Deposits secure your space and cover preparation costs; they cannot be returned in the event of cancellation, late arrival, or no-show.

2. Tickets & Event Bookings

  • All tickets purchased for events, parties, or special promotions are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the event is cancelled by Bar Social.

  • Tickets are only valid for the date, time, and event stated at purchase.

3. Arrival Times & Late Entry

  • Guests must arrive at the time specified in their booking. Entry may be refused if you arrive late, and no refunds will be issued.

  • We reserve the right to reallocate tables if guests have not arrived within 15 minutes of the booking time.

4. Entry Requirements

  • Bar Social operates a strict over-18 policy. Valid photographic ID may be required for entry.

  • Management reserves the right to refuse entry or service if a guest is intoxicated, unable to provide ID, or behaves inappropriately. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

5. Behaviour & Safety

  • Aggressive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. Guests removed from the venue for such reasons will not be entitled to a refund or transfer.

  • Bar Social reserves the right to stop serving alcohol to any guest who appears intoxicated.

6. Cancellations by Bar Social

  • If Bar Social cancels an event or booking, guests will be offered either:

    • A full refund, or

    • The option to transfer to another date or event.

7. Force Majeure

  • Bar Social is not liable for refunds in the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g. government restrictions, extreme weather, transport strikes, national emergencies).
